Manmohan Memorial Medical College and Teaching Hospital (MMTH), is a major institution of Nepal Health Care Co-operative Ltd. (NEHCO- Nepal) the leading health co-operative organization in Nepal. Being a dreamer and founder vice chairman of the organization, I have envisioned to found MMTH with the main purpose to provide quality health service, produce quality health related human resources and conduct health researches. Presently MMTH is running in 200 bedded capacity, has planned to increase up to 900 beds with helipad at the roof top of the hospital. Currently providing general and specialized health services like Medicine, Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Obstetric & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Spine surgery, Urology & Psychiatry etc, MMTH has aimed to have super specialty health services like Neuro surgery, Cardiovascular services, Hepatobiliary, Nephrology: Dialysis and renal transplant in near future. Founded after the name of late Prime Minister Manmohan Adhikari the beginner of senior citizen allowances in Nepal. the hospital aims to establish Gerontology department (Geriatric Medicine) and geriatric care training center first of its kind in Nepal. To support the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) and Universal Health Coverage (UHC) of the government MMTH has launched several programs including outreach specialized free health camps in the different parts of the country, free surgical operation for the Women suffering from POP (Pelvic Organ Prolaps) and several charity health care activities for the people .We are committed to make this institution a center of excellence with National and International collaboration.
